Removing Barriers to
Blood Test
Screening Clinic
We facilitate essential Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) screenings for homeless and at-risk men in the community. By coordinating with mobile units and partner clinics, we ensure men can access this vital early detection test. Crucially, we remove logistical barriers by providing essential transportation and scheduling appointments for the screening and related follow-up tests.
Nurse Assisting
Patient
Once a diagnosis or risk is identified, Men’s WAR provides support to navigate the complex healthcare system. We help to identify and assist with pathways for cancer treatment. Post-treatment, we help men access rehabilitation facilities and may provide temporary phone support to monitor their recovery progress.
Rehabilitation
Support Men
We empower men and the community with crucial knowledge and resources. This program involves providing comprehensive information on healthcare and social services. We also offer awareness resources related to cancer and other important educational health topics, helping men maintain long-term health and stability.
