Thomas Brown is the Founder & Principal Architect of Men’s WAR (Without A Roof with Prostate Cancer, Inc.), a trauma-informed nonprofit dedicated to dignity, transparency, and sustainable support for vulnerable populations. His decade of service at the VA Healthcare Center—working in oncology and rehabilitation clinics—grounds his leadership in compassion and firsthand understanding of patient needs. Thomas gained nonprofit governance and compliance expertise through the process of legally establishing Men’s WAR, ensuring the organization is built on transparency and resilience. His lived experience informs the organization’s trauma-informed mission, ensuring every initiative is rooted in dignity and authenticity. Looking ahead, Thomas envisions a mobile screening unit serving the Charlotte Metro area and beyond, bringing prostate cancer awareness and early detection directly to men in their communities.
